Alexander Painted  (Mexico City 1973)

Lives and works in Mexico City   He studied the degree of  Painting at the National School of Painting Sculpture and Engraving La Esmeralda and the Master of Fine Arts in  Goldsmiths College, University of London. He has been awarded several international and national recognitions such as the Painting Prize  Centenary fair MACO (2012),  the grant from the National System of Fonca Art Creators (2010-2013), the grant to support publications from the Bancomer BBVA foundation, the Skowhegan School of painting grant, Maine, USA (2007), the  New York PollockKrasner Foundation Grant (2007), the Laguna Arte Special Award  Arsenal of Venice, Italy (2010), the  first prize at the Bienal Miradas de Tijuana (2013).
